METAS DE COMPRENSIÓN IV PERIODO

UNDERSTANDING GOALS IV TERM
THIRD GRADE
TOPIC: DIVERSITY
THROUGHLINE: Colombia, a multicultural country.               
UNDERSTANDING GOALS:
ENGLISH:                              
Students will develop comprehension about their lives, animals of different habitats, and the weather, in order to illustrate, relate to, and explain the way they perceive themselves and their surroundings through oral and written exercises.

·         INDICATOR 1: Classroom performance
·         INDICATOR 2: Development of the Project.
·         INDICATOR 3: Performance of the school rulebook in classes by following disciplinary commands in order to behave properly.

MATH: Students will understand the concept of perimeter, area, and volume, and how to use different geometrical instruments in order to build up geometrical figures; they will understand how plane figures are part of solid figures, with the purpose to identify them in their environment; moreover, they will understand how information could be organized and interpreted in order to be aware of towards a reality.

·         INDICATOR 1: Classroom performance
·         INDICATOR 2: Development of the Project.
·         INDICATOR 3: Performance of the school rulebook in classes by following disciplinary commands in order to behave properly.

SCIENCE: Students will develop comprehension about our solar system, the sun, the moon, and the earth, and their characteristics, in order to understand their effects and influence on our environment.

·         INDICATOR 1: Classroom performance
·         INDICATOR 2: Development of the Project.
·         INDICATOR 3: Performance of the school rulebook in classes by following disciplinary commands in order to behave properly.

SOCIAL STUDIES: Students will develop comprehension about the conquest stages, the main characteristics of the Orinoco region, and the meaning of the Colombian national symbols, in order to understand its importance to our Colombian culture.

·         INDICATOR 2: Geography
·         INDICATOR 3: Democracy
·         INDICATOR 4: Performance of the school rulebook in classes by following disciplinary commands in order to behave properly.

RELIGION: Los estudiantes desarrollarán comprensión de la organización, funciones y cargos de los miembros de la iglesia al conocer su historia para contextualizarse más sobre cómo ésta ha ido evolucionando.
                            
·     INDICADOR 1: Desempeño en clase.
·     INDICADOR 2: Quiz y trabajos en computador.
·      INDICADOR 3: Desarrollo del manual de convivencia en clase siguiendo algunas indicaciones de disciplina con el fin de comportarse apropiadamente.

CÍVICA: Los estudiantes comprenderán que existe un compromiso social frente algunas problemáticas de Colombia desde el reconocimiento y la participación que los invitarán a tomar conciencia y hacer parte activa de esa solución.

·     INDICADOR 1: Desempeño en clase.
·     INDICADOR 2: Quiz y trabajos en computador.
·      INDICADOR 3: Desarrollo del manual de convivencia en clase siguiendo algunas indicaciones de disciplina con el fin de comportarse apropiadamente.
