WHAT IS MATTER?                            

Matter is anything that has mass. All objects are made of matter. Air, water, a brick, even we are made of matter!

Matter is made up of smaller pieces (particles).

PROPERTIES OF MATTER

A property describes how an object looks, feels, or acts. All the objects around us have different kinds of properties. We can describe the objects according to their:

• shape
• color
• texture
• smell
• taste
